So, what is your portable ID and how do you make changes to it?

Your Online ID is your PlayStation®Network name that you pick when you sign up. Once your Online ID is set, you can't change it, so choose wisely.

The Avatar can be changed any time from your PLAYSTATION®3 console:

• Go to the "PlayStation®Network" icon in the XMB™ (XrossMediaBar)
• Select "Sign-In" if not already signed in
• Select "Account Management" under the PlayStation®Network menu
• Select "Account Management" in the account management menu
• Select "Edit Online Profile"
• Select a new Avatar or "Use Current"

Current Level denotes your PlayStation®Network level based on all your game activity.

Progress indicates percentage progress you've made toward reaching the next PlayStation®Network level

Total Trophies Earned is shown as a numerical sum of all the trophies you've earned across all the games you've played

Podium displaying trophies breakdown shows how many platinum, gold, silver, and bronze trophies you've earned across all the trophies-enabled games that you've played

By sharing your portable ID, other users will have access to your PlayStation®Network Online ID and may contact you over the PlayStation®Network.
